Guys, quick question, whats the size of the stock speaker for the persona front and back? 6.5" front? 6x9 back?
planning to get 6.5" component but i dont want any "chop" requirement, or else i guess i have to downgrade a bit to match with the stock. |

QUOTE(2fast2furious @ Nov 6 2009, 04:22 PM) previous version of this thread i remember there's a post about it, those B-Line and M-Line are using 1.3L brake pump which i think its the same with BLM, H-Line and SE are using the better pump, thats why there's a few owner were complaining about the brake is too soft and have to press deeper in order to brake the car where else SE and H-line both using ABS and 4 Disc brake. |

QUOTE(ipohmali70 @ Nov 12 2009, 06:19 PM) WTF?? i'm curious, care to tell us which sales agent did u get ur SE? CST? Gerak auto? EON?New 32 bit ecu? New rain & light sensors, you say? Here's what my crystal ball tells me: The ecu will screw up in the 1st month. Nope its not the battery fault but due to unproven design. The engine won't start and and the SC will say no stock (favourite excuse) The rain & light sensor will also kaput within 2 months. Apparently the Proton engineers didn't take into the heavy rainfall in this county and thus the accumulated water in the sensor got dirty and stagnant and then the sensor will fail. You will find that you cannot manually activate the wiper at all. Neither can you activate the headlights manually because they have taken out the manual controls for that. Imagine when its dark and rainy and you have neither lights or wipers. Remember when Wira had the intermittent wipers but now its not on the Persona? Also, remember a simple Wira also had the lighted keyhole but it also not available on the Persona, a Wira replacement? Call me pessimist if you like but after 6 months of tahaning the wonderful noises from my new Persona (or Problema) I've come to expect very little from a company that still needs to be propped up by my tax money, AFTER 24 years! If you had spent a million on your 24 yr old kid's upbringing and education and he still ask you for pocket money, what do you do? Gtfo! |

Using scrap scheme to buy persona, usually no discount and not much freebies wat-so-ever. The 5k voucher is already included the proton discount as the governement only sub 3k while the 2k is bear by proton, that is the reason why the perodua pulled out the scheme earlier becoz could not bear much of the cost, too many ppl changing to myvi with scrap scheme. The most u can get would be like free full petrol, free first 3 service labour charge, thats all. if u can find a kind enough SA, they will let u have the same offer as the normal purchase, but its very hard.

QUOTE(heavencloud @ Nov 28 2009, 11:21 PM) wah... ur car damn shiny, i'm jealous 1st - Wash carCan someone care to explain me how to use car polish and wax? I want to make my car shine like new again Added on November 28, 2009, 11:22 pm can put one cd at a time 2nd - Dry 3rd - use clay bar to rub with detailer (get rip the orange peel, usually for the new car) 4th - wide and dry the car 5th - polish (if you got car polisher it would be much easier, or else use hand for exercise) 6th - wipe the polish 7th - wax 8th - wipe the wax out 9th - use rain wax to wipe the glass part (some ppl prefer without it as it will destroy the wiper quickly due to chemical reaction) 10th - tyre polisher the process needed at least 2-3hrs |

QUOTE(heavencloud @ Nov 29 2009, 12:51 AM) Hmmm... can't reall understand the 3rd process most of the new car has orange peel, u can easily identify it by touching the body paint surface, u will feel the surface of the body paint is rough, not as smooth as you think although its a new and shining car. Thats where you need a clay bar and detailer to do the job, to make it smoother the surface. Bear in mind that make sure the clay bar dont drop on the floor before apply on the car, it will scratch your car easily (because u never know wat it will stick on the floor like tiny stone), if drop better throw it away and use a new one. and i bought a touchup paint Autospa brand with my car color code (A0100 Tranquility Black) with a clear coat. Going to try to touch up the scratches at my car too |

just received my new car, so far so good... now i starting can hear a slight 'tak tak' sound from my rear site when i want to brake, but not so obvious though. Installed dampering proof on my 2 front doors and new component set at EA, nice workmanship they did, pretty satisfied with their service.
