need press few time only can work 

mine is non-iafm automatic also.......most of the time will touch 190km with no dropping gear and hard revving...just smoothly pressing the pedal.....when wanna go topspeed, just turn off aircond...it give less stress on the engine and thus, it will give u more power.....if u on aircond, it will reach 190km or (195km) (tested on klia with 3people in the car) but slower compare to OFF completely.....

  .....even at 180/190km+++...the steering still did not vibrate...but stability definately persona much better than blm but neo,gen2 is much better than persona..so persona is in between....

today serviced my car at sec13 sc. finally they have solved metal clunking sound at front during turning..
need to monitor as i'm not sure when it will occur again..proton..sighhh

My RHF wheel metal clunking noise is ALMOST non audible. What is fixed might amaze some of you guys here... They just fix a "orifice valve" INSIDE the rubber tubing just under the power steering fluid plastic reserve tank. It is said to reduce the sudden surge of oil pressure that causes the noise.

Strange but true....it does work.

Here is my review:

BEFORE

The clunking noise is always audible whenever i pass certain usual roads while turning into lorongs. So i am quite confident under what road and driving conditions how the clunking might occur.

AFTER

The usual road and turning into lorong conditions.... the clunking noise is gone completely.

BUT... once a while it does have the annoying clunking noise when driving while turning along shopping mall ramps that have deep grooves in them (pavement).

So... its still under my observation and i have informed Proton SC of my findings the 2nd day after the installation of the "orifice valve".

What is that "orifice valve" you may wonder?

From my view, as i have seen it while they are doing the installation... its just a simple hard plastic with reduced hole passage for the oil to go through it. It is fitted inside the power steering rubber hose just before / after the power steering fluid plastic reserve tank. That means its non visible.
I witnessed the installation of this item while at SC.

The senior mechanic sd items no. 3 & 4, memang tiada. R U guys been told the same too ?

Hi guy, I am new here... just get my car last week 2010 [A - M-line] model...

the following are the thing I facing
1) alarm sound don't have anymore (after few days)
2) the driving place in water (when heavy rain)
3) when up hill do not feel any power (maybe new?)

at last the sc have called me... the he ead service apologise to me and make sure that kind of thing wont be happening again.. i want to change sc.. but at manjung area only got 1 sc.. and the head say they will take action against the worker ..

my persona nearly 2 years and everytime when I am driving, it will have some funny sound like " nyik nyik nyek nyek" sounds,feel it came from the absorber or maybe suspension. Does anyone has the same problem??

When my car load more than 3 person, the sound gone

tha valve the add into the power sterring hose.. if ur car still under warranty.. then u can get it free.. just go sc and complain that ur car got tok tok sound when uneven road

i think using service book la..
they will chop at every interval service ur done at PROTON SC...
u should demand it to be chop, it's the only record...
