1) that is normal. It could be more annoying when you still stepping on the brake, then you tried to open the lock, it locks back instantly    The other way to use it, pull the hard brake first, then unlock.

2) I think it should be around normal. First they turned on your engine at the factory after finished assembling, then rev the engine hard. Then a short drive for QA and heads to the yard/lorry. Upon arrival, the sc will double check again with their own check list and give the car a spin.So i guess it is just about right
