Because I have the same symptom like you Mine also 2years plus, the symptom is the moment crank the starter, short interval delay..I have no idea when it is going to dead, i predict very soon... Nevermind then, if engine stall halfway, call the insurance agent towtruck tow back home, distance less than 15km FOC. But guys, my friend told me that the battery from the original it will come with 5 years warranty, is it true ar?? He told me that when you received that 5 years extended warranty they got stated they battery also got 5 years warranty, if kong can take back to CEO. But I am not sure is this true. QUOTE(keeplwk @ Nov 24 2009, 04:34 PM) Yes, i also told my friend like that, and he mention to me, he has call to CEO to check and he told me that CEO claim that the battery got 5 years also, maybe the others 4 years proton give gua. hahaha, I am not sure about this, and he told me that, even thought you bring back the original battery to claim, they will charge it back and put it back to your car. If like that, I think better get a new battery, because the battery have charge, i think the life time also not long and I don't want to get in trouble in the morning and running here n there or call toll truck toll my car to CEO to claim that battery Added on November 24, 2009, 4:55 pm QUOTE(heavencloud @ Nov 24 2009, 04:47 PM) When I change my battery, 1 of the mechanic told me that, Peugeot battery can last up to 7 years, and he also told me that, the battery in Peugeot car at least 30 to 40% heavy than the one we get for top quality in the market. and he also said that we can't get those battery in our local market. Yes, actually both type is the same, but if your car is using the second type, you can't install the first type, because the first battery is taller than the second 1, and the screw also different to install it. I think if you want to install the first type also can, but need to change the installer which grib the battery.2nd type is more expensive coz it is maintenance free As the first type, they use a steel to grib it and screw from the top, but the second type, at the bottom of the battery there is a place for this battery to screw it, so it can not use the first type, unless you change the things that tight up the battery. But I am not sure it is possible to do so, because if the battery is too tall, it may hit your bonnet and can not close up. |

i think there are only two types of battery available in our market..the wet & dry battery
the wet one..we need to check the water regularly..the life circle is longer than the dry one (according to mechanic)..1 year - 2 years. while the dry type..it is maintainance free..use it until kong..but the life circle is shorter..1 year plus plus only. it term of price..the dry one is more expensive..maybe because of the 'maintenance free'. both can be use for our persona..the battery clipper is adjustable one..don't worry. last time i changed my viva battery the original one was wet type (about 1.5 years old)..then, i changed it to the dry. |

QUOTE(JamesChaow @ Nov 25 2009, 11:02 AM) It would be very hard to get just 1 piece ori alloy rim from tire shop.Normally people trade-in the whole set. I dont think theywant to let go just for 1 piece! You can try get new alloy rim from PESC but I bet it wont be cheap! |
