QUOTE(Haloperidol @ Apr 22 2024, 08:32 AM) ================================= =================New chapter of my life. Typed @ 22.4.2024. Career wise : #ExitKKM Regardless of the so called "iron rice bowl" given by the government, i decided to resign due to shitty pay, idiotic bureaucracy, toxic environment. Letter written to Head Of Department after CNY - resignation letter done and enforced on March 22 2024 Joined a private team on the same month itself. Previously, KKM salary is quoted approximate MYR 16 to MYR 18 per hour (Base salary + Oncall claims ) --- You can say now i work less hours, and earn much better bucks - now i'm eligible for certain Visa Infinite credit card now. (previously slavery at KKM can't even entitled for Visa Signature LOL) Age : 30 Single Assets : ASM FP : 204k FP - done, will let itself roll . Stock : 41k --- still at minimal loss, small cap is shit, surprisingly banks and TENAGA make good runs. KWSP : 77k High-liquidity MMF : approximate 70k PRS : 6k - just to avoid paying MAHALDANI tax LOL Target 1 (ASM) - completed , exceed target by 100% - done and dusted. Target 2 (first property for investment) - scouted, reason for the high liquidity MMF is to prepare the 10% deposit for the housing, estimated completion time 2028, pending S&P signature. Target 3 (stock) : fuck Bursa, scouting SGX for S-reit and SGD priced securities. ===== Dooddads same old Myvi, same old phone, same old Laptop but i think i gonna do some upgrade on my phone and lappie coz ... it's time. My phone recieved notification that Rize will stop support my phone soon (they gonna support Android 11+ only LMAO) It's a signifigant month for me. I buffed up my coffer, and i cut down my weight. I am now no longer a phat ass. Weight reduced from 90kg to 75kg with *ahem* medicine and controlled diet. Hopefully i can maintain a good BMI and achieve more muscular weight and a healthy body to enjoy my future fruits of labor of investing. Everyday i eat wheat bread and it taste like cardboard, lamo but i can feel +1 day of hp with every bite. Career : Progressing. Age : 31 , Single Assets : ASM FP : 333k FP Stocks : 24.6k --- profit taken on good big cap, shit still happen in small cap KWSP : 133k SGD securities : SGD 25k translate into approximate 75k High liquidity MMF : approximate 42k PRS : 9k Target 1 (ASM) -- despite i always say done and dusted, i still put my money inside it. What is my obsession with ASM .... haizz.. Target 2 : 53.8k contributed, loan started, completion time 2028 , Current Market rate 550k Target 3 SGX explored, money in DBS as direct holding. Apparently good yield, Majulah Singapura. ======= Derivatives : Gross Investment% base on total salary : 89% , (means every RM 100 i earn, i save RM 89) Estimated passive income (exclude KWSP/PRS) : MYR 19k per annum Tax bracket : screwed up, The money i paid to government as income tax is higher than my personal expenses... Man, i hate income tax. ====== Doodad's Same old car, new phone due to limitation of hardware, same old laptop. ===== This year target : Spent more time and money for my loved ones (parents). PRS contribution, KWSP contribution to reduce tax rate. Continue progressing in career. Aim to have 36k MYR per annum as passive income by next 2-3 years time. To achieve 0 cashflow deficit (aka rent generated = repayment ) on property after CCC. This post has been edited by Haloperidol: Oct 2 2025, 08:36 PM |

QUOTE(HolyCooler @ Dec 1 2025, 04:54 PM) How Many Millionaires Are There in Malaysia (2025) I'm surprised that there is only 85k millionaire in Malaysia...https://madeinmalaysia.com.my/how-many-mill...0to%20164%2C839. What Does “Millionaire” Really Mean? Before we dive into statistics, let’s clarify the definition: Net Worth = Assets – Liabilities. Own RM2 million in property but owe RM1.5 million in loans? That’s only RM500k net worth — not a millionaire. Ringgit vs. US Dollar Millionaires. Locally, people often say “millionaire” at RM1m, but globally, it refers to US$1 million in net wealth. With the exchange rate, RM1m is about US$210k. For this article, we’ll focus on USD millionaires. Liquid vs. Illiquid. Some banks count only liquid wealth (cash, stocks, bonds) and exclude your own home. So when we ask how many millionaires are there in Malaysia, we mean people with at least US$1m in net wealth. Is RM1 Million Still a Big Deal? In Malaysia, being a ringgit millionaire doesn’t carry the same weight it used to. In KL, RM1m barely buys a condo, let alone a bungalow. Retirement experts say you need at least RM2–3m for comfort. Globally, USD millionaires are still rare, but ringgit millionaires are becoming common. So yes, it’s still an achievement — but not as exclusive. Conclusion So, how many millionaires are there in Malaysia? Around 85,000 today, and likely 165,000 by 2027. That’s a small club in a nation of 33 million — but a growing one. Most of Malaysia’s wealthy got there through property, business, and smart investing, not luck. For everyone else, the message is not envy, but inspiration. Learn their habits, adapt their discipline, and maybe one day, you’ll join the count. Because the next millionaire in Malaysia might be closer than you think — maybe even you. the perception for me is ... definitely more than 85000 ... QUOTE(guy3288 @ Dec 1 2025, 06:34 PM) some say most of the millionaires got it from father mother grandpa grand ma.... By grinding very hard hahahaha....and get TAXED very super farking hardhow many in here got rich that way ??
