QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Oct 11 2009, 06:22 PM) picture 1 is not bad at all, here s my tips for u , thanks for the tips, will practice more evyday...hehescenery shot like this, use manual mode, set high aperture to f10(try f22 too) above, set a low shutter speed, try with few aperture, u will see alot of nice white blurring water flowing down like clouds. a tripod is a must , if u have 1, and use a remote trigger to prevent camera shake. tripod really help a lot |

personally i will still choose d3000 to start now, never hold d40. d5000 liveview n doesnt impress me much, its like a extra features to me. if i have the budget, i will go for d90.
now looking to add a flash and prime lens thinking of nissin di622 and 35mm f1.8 afs any idea? |

QUOTE(a.ihsan @ Oct 25 2009, 09:56 AM) i love my D60. Don't care if the new models got live-view, more focus points (actually I'm upset about this part). btw...this is my latest shots with my d3000...i really need a flash for indoor shotsfor me what camera you use, doesn't matter. its what you do with it! by the way, its up to you. do you feel you always go to places where you would need an external flash? if you do, then go for the flash and if you always feel you need a better lens for different situations, get the lens. good luck ![]() |

QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Oct 25 2009, 10:25 AM) you are absolutely right, pros can even shoot nice pics with his 2.3 megapixel hand phone. So d60 is already more than u need to make a nice pics. Well if u going pro where u shoot event and wedding where u earn money from photography, then u may consider going semi pro like d200/300/300s/700. d3/x/s is more for serious sports and animal shooting national geographic type of pros. A rich player can get all those and act like a pro but he is not a pro with tripodAdded on October 25, 2009, 10:26 am no tripod? settings? ISO100 F5.6 13s |

QUOTE(komando67 @ Nov 5 2009, 02:46 AM) Just Bought my 1st DSLR...D3000..love it!! you bought a D3000, i assuming u r a newbie in photography..Added on November 5, 2009, 2:50 amNow start thinking bout lens...hehehe...can suggest?like more bokeh.. try to play around with the kit lens 1st...then only think which lens suitable a flash is a must when u taking a indoor event... 1855 generally is a very good lens for daily purposes... Added on November 5, 2009, 6:03 am QUOTE(Isepunye @ Nov 5 2009, 04:35 AM) u might consider a 35mm F1.8 AFS which design for Nikon DX rangeso far the only 50mm lens can AF on D40/40x/60/3000/5000 ->50mm AFS F1.4, but cost a lot 50mm non-AFS can be used, to train up ur manual focus...
