QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Sep 22 2009, 02:01 AM) There's one mode (not night portrait) called AUTO flash off. The icon is like a restricted sign with lightning. It adjusts ISO and shutter speed automatically while not using the flash. So it's more to the auto mode... Phottix pop up flash diffuser is around RM35, worth it or not depends on yourself. There's pop-up flash diffuser for sale, but if i recall correctly it's not cheap/not worth it... try google "nikon pop up flash diffuser" or search in garage sales, i forgot the price. Erm if you want DIY you can try google it, i didn't make one b4 so I don't know. |

QUOTE(hackerzx @ Oct 17 2009, 11:24 AM) ic..thats why they always said cant use many lenses..4k nowadays? j one also? err.. like this must go to d5000 lor Save up for the D90, many of the prime lens from Nikon does not come in AF-S. Those with AF-S are considerably more pricey, eg. 50mm f/1.4G and 50mm f/1.8D.Else, just get D90 body only and 18-55mm VR second hand. Might be able to squeeze 3.3k perhaps? |

QUOTE(ronnt88 @ Nov 30 2009, 04:28 PM) prime lense?? err.... ok, will keep the 55mm, thanks for the advise. Each lens have the minimum distance for focusing, if you want to go really close you'll need a macro lens instead.Meaning the the 18-55mm is an all rounder lens for general use and the 35mm is for special use? I was told the 35mm is more for portraits, indoor & macro... so use the 55mm for everything else? Where can i go do research on purpose of these different lenses? thanks Added on November 30, 2009, 4:31 pmoh by the way, i always have trouble getting the camera to focus on close up shots if i point the camera near to the target object... is this normal? 18-55's minimum focusing distance is I think 0.45m or so (if it is the same as the 18-105mm). |

Fastpack series are very convenient IMO. But I dislike the design so I went with Flipside 400 AW instead. Lowepro's quality is good in my opinion. I've not tested the Kata, only other backpack I've tested is one of the bigger Crumpler, which cost about RM600. Totally out of my budget lol.

50mm f/1.4D or 50mm f/1.4G.
Might want to consider the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 HSM as well. |

QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Jan 1 2010, 11:07 AM) dont uderstand why we need a hoya which cost rm100++ as a uv filter? I used to think like that, but then the flare from the normal UV are just too irritating. I myself using a Kenko UV filter (RM50-60 can't recall). But totally blown away when I tried the Pro1D, the flare reduced so much. Not a fan of filter as we gonna PP it anyway in raws |
