Tamron AF55-200mm F/4-5.6 Di-II LD Macro

did both of this have build in motor?

because

Nikkor AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II
Nikkor DX55-200mm F4-5.6G AFS VR Zoom Nikkor ED Lens

is more expensive. sweat.gif

I think I can help here. For the Tamron 18-200 there are 2 versions 1 with 1 without but from last year onwards all have built in motor the model no for 18-200 with built in motor is A14NII the older one is A14N. With the 55-200, the code is A15NII for built in motor and A15N for no motor model.

As far as I know the price is about the same. The Tamron 18-200 is a decent lens at this current price. Although there is a big difference between the Nikon and this lens, if you can accept the compromises (compared to the Nikon), you will be happy shooting with that lens as it is a compact, light and versatile lens.

what do you think about this lens?
as you ar using nikon drool.gif
the main thing is i want to zoom and spy only tongue.gif
