DX camera is 1.5 crop factors at sensor
if using 50mm lens
means 50mm x 1.5 = 75mm

while FX camera is full frame. there is no crop factors therefore using DX 50mm will be same as FX using 75mm

if u had extra budget, get 18105 would be best for ur all rounder lens... quite useable when travel.

1855 quite limited range but indeed it is a good lens for first timer...

D90 is over 4k+ right if i'm not mistaken.

I'm getting a 2nd hand 18-135mm (2nd hand, 1 1/2 yrs old), think add up maybe less 3.5.
Should I take 18-200 or 18-135 is actually sufficient? How about 17-50mm?
*
RM4.1K... add 100 only for long term satisfaction

Tamron AF 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 XR Di II
Tamron AF55-200mm F/4-5.6 Di-II LD Macro

did both of this have build in motor?

because

Nikkor AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II
Nikkor DX55-200mm F4-5.6G AFS VR Zoom Nikkor ED Lens

is more expensive.  sweat.gif

need help ^^
i am using D3000 TQ
*
the price itself can tell its build in motor or not... normally non motor one very cheap
