Tried 1750, heard it has serious backfocusing problem. although no problem on the unit i've tried. sharp sharp sharp lens. but i still like the wider (a little bit la.. 16 - 17) and longer zoom lo. i paired it with 50 1.8 if i would like to have some bokeh ... thats my thought lar... u buy 1750 la. then we swap. hahaha

The sun was a very sharp angle behind me when I took this shot. I find that when the sun is at such angles, the skies are a real nice blue!

It's the same except that the first Tamron is with VC (i.e. Image Stabilizer), it's a new lens but for C & N brands only.

Ooo... was thinking to get new ones, they are not very expensive AFAIK.

yesterday tried others alpha, n i found out my ovf view how come so blurry compare to them? i found out the ovf's bottom green color values i can hardly see them....

its a style of a300 or problem occurred? need advise from a300 owners!

Bro, any samples for the toilet bowl diff?? Am looking for diffuser and learn that there are 2 types, the boxy ones and the toilet bowl ones.

Have you tried the diopter adjustment dial?
maybe somebody has messed with your A300 OVF focus. (it is located at the right side of the OVF)

nickilala: Just look for a blue sky and shoot it.

gacktleong: That means your viewfinder diopter is not set to your eyes. You need to turn the dial on the right of your viewfinder until the numbers on your LCD inside the viewfinder are sharp.

See this, turn the gear until u get sharp images/clear ovf info display.
