Im thinking whether should I go for cz1635 or cz1680 plus sigma 30mm f1.4 =.=

then quote me ur 18250 price tongue.gif

btw Tamron 18250 vs SAL 18250 or any 16/18-200/250 who wins eh? Any recommendation?
*
Between the two (Tamron & Sony), definitely it's the Sony since Sony uses Tamron Technology and put some of their own magic into it.

I think the best would the the Sigma (not tested and don't think anyone here owns it). I read it at DPReview (http://www.dpreview.com/news/0906/09061804sigma.asp), it has HSM and incorporates a Hybrid OS (Optical Stabilizer).

@shootkk : I got one request if you don't mind, can show some sample pics results of A850 (APS-C mode) + SAL18250? biggrin.gif

One Noob question : Does EV = 0 means the shoot is underexposed a little bit? When i shoot EV=0 and EV=0.3 / 0.7 the results are different (more properly exposed)
*
EV=0 is correct exposure if ur subject is 18% gray.
If ur subject is white color, u will get underexpose. It become gray. thus u need maybe +0.3 or +0.7EV to get it white.
If ur subject is black.. u will get overexpose. It become gray also. thus u need to set negative EV to get it black.

I tested mine 1870 on A200 sometime ago. Basically the center word is in focus. but on the real shoot, i still get some BF.
Do appreciate ur 1870. till now i still cannot say my 1680Z is much superior than my 1870.. sigh..

Thanks for the explanation. So it seems that its similar to LX3 too. Need to +0.3 / +0.7 EV to make it actual white.

Actually, you guys are all wrong!! It's the A950 !!! Here's the specs:

1. Dual sensor CCD and CMOS
2. With built in pop-up flash 50% of the time
3. Can attach up to 2 lenses at a time

It's the A100 + A850 = A950!! LOL!

Yesterday I check geavity and they no have the A850 listed.... T_T

naissss.... how much did you buy it?? below 6K or above?

Sony tadak FF lens in 17-40 or 16-35 range? Then what do the Sony FF guys use for UWA?
I smell CZ24-70 lens coming soon. brows.gif
Mike u using CZ24-70 in this pic kar? Coz last time ur FF lens was Tamron 28-75 f2.8 no?
*
eh? sony have 17-40 meh?? the 1635 is FF lens?? it wont be used in cropped mode rite? interesting...

QUOTE(albnok @ Oct 2 2009, 07:08 PM)
Braynumb: I would strongly suggest, if you don't have a FF camera, don't go stocking up on FF lenses unless you're sure.

The 17-50mm always has the APS-C circle.
*
what APS-C circle?
