I got it for rm 2880 + rm 180 got d 2 years extended warranty. they told me is fully out of stock whole malaysia when i collected mine... My piece is brought over from Malacca.. got "FOTOKEM MELAKA" on the box. not sure how to check d firmware.. but d guy told me should b d old vers. how can we upgrade? d latest is vers 3?? inside d body like got powder like that (hope is not dust).... since 2007 

I got 2880 without ANYTHING... no memory card. no bag..no tripod.. if u manage to bargain until below Rm 3k below.. ur extended warranty will be same as mine rm 180 only.. they count by the camera price. Yupe no stock refering to Fotokem stock only.

Checked d firmware.. mine is Version 3... any benefit from the upgrade? like better noise reduction?

Thanks for the explanation guys, I know it boils down to personal preferences regarding the length. I already the Tammy 17-50 f2.8, would it be redundant if I get this 50mm f2.8?

Yeah... i oso prefer the A200/300/350/700/850/900 type body.... fits my hands nicely...

The new A230/330/380/500/550 body is light, and grip is horrible in my hands.... feels like holding a DSLR light aje...

Since I dont have UWA lens.. i hv to do Panaroma to shoot the whole living room. Wish i hv the uwa lens to make my life easier..

This is The best i can do to join the photos together.. but many parts r distorted /stretched.. 

Now my concern is since the UWA oso suffer Distortion at wide...whats the best way to overcome this kind of shooting? photoshop every piece like what i have done..? 18mm oredi very obvious distortion.. 11mm will be.....

actually im quite noob to those cf card specs.....which one refer to the writing speed from camera to card?x133?or the 20mb 30mb???

The quoted speed on the CF is normally the read speed (which is always faster than writing speeds). I don't recommend Kingston as they are usually slow compare to other brands on the same speed rating.

Sandisk range are much faster read and write.

I am using the 8 GB 133 X Kingston Elite Pro and its does have some lag / delay when given a preview of the picture taken on my A200.

If you guys have a faster CF do share

One thing I love about portrait photography is that a lot of the decisions are made for you (like which lens/focal length to use), so you can focus on the harder parts of portrait photographyensuring that you have great light and capturing the personality of your subject. When it comes to portraits, f/11 is the ticket because it provides great sharpness and depth on the face (and isn't that what portraits are all about?), which gives you a great overall look for most portrait photography (now, I say "most" because there are some artistic reasons why you might want to try a different aperture if you're trying to get a special effect, but for the most part you can choose aperture priority mode, set your aperture at f/11, and then worry about the really important stuffthe lighting, capturing your subject's personality, how much to bill your client, etc.).

if me i'll go for 1750...2nd 16105...3rd cz1680..i tried 1680..not as nice as i thought...not worth it I think. 1750 f2.8 is sharp...bright lens..once u have 2.8..u wont look back to non constant lens.

I live in Singapore, but it seems DSLR at here are more expensive.

how much it cost to transfer the warranty from malaysia to sg?
