1) Do you think the condo is safe, despite the crack?
2) Who is responsible for fixing it if the crack is natural ... the condo is only 10 years old btw and unit is on the highest floor. Management ?
Appreciate any advise.
Thanks.

Went condo hunting. There was one unit, there was a long horizontal crack on the condo wall, which is also visible from the corridor. The crack is on the wall, but under the supposed beam. There is also cracks in some of the rooms, mostly on the border of the wall and the ceiling board.

If the crack is a concern, why still consider buying it??
Let me guess, it is very cheap? 50% below market? Think again, why is the fella willing to sell it to you if it's not a big deal. top floor is the most common unit with leaking that is beyond usual repair, ie. not to pester owner upstairs to water-proof their toilet. Good luck, continue hunting. Also, if you dun mind sharing where about the place u saw this, to avoid for others. |
