how the IQ compare to kit lens dude?

IQ? Or you mean the VC? the vc is serves me well, can shoot at 1/4 sec and still get a sharp pic..

Er, no. I mean the image quality / IQ. VC=IS in term right. I guess i just wanna buy tamron 17-50 non vc. Dont have enough budget to buy 17-50 VC. huhu.. But if the IQ is about the same, then no point for me to buy the 17-50.

IQ for Tamron 17-50 VC confirm better than kit len...and can compare with canon 17-55 is usm....almost same level with canon 17-55 is usm...

Just received it, bought from Photomalaysia forumer. 77mm +10 close up filter (poor man's Raynox).

How does this work compared to Raynox?

+10 close up filter on a 70-200 f2.8 is awesome. I've been wanting to get 1 too but havent got down to it yet. It's not poor man's raynox ler. If u get the Canon 1, it can cost u 1 arm n leg. Last time I checked, it's about rm800 IIRC.

This is enough for me. I am so regret to sell it. I find it easier to use than Raynox.
