I told Vincent the Sigma 50mm produces bokeh as nice as the big white fatty but in a nice lil shorty package easy to carry n walkabout with. Vincent said "meh! I got macho manly arms to carry big white fatty, nonid to look at shorty". laugh.gif

What u dont understand is...... a lot of ppl dont use the 70-200 f2.8 for reach. It's used a lot as a portrait lens.

tongue.gif i would say normally they use 70-135mm range only, 200mm is a tad too long for portraits unless the photographer's objective is to capture scenics like the mountains and valleys...

Go see what the fellas use in fashion magazine shoots. U'll see a whole lot of the 70-200 f2.8.

I had a chance to photograph Stylo Fashion Week (forgot which year already), some uncles in front of me use 24-70, those same line with me uses 70-200 (I'm using the DA* 50-135 f/2.8 that time), and some uncles at my back on 300mm, 400mm LOL~ I guess it all depends on where you stand during the event.
