So tempted to get this phone. Still trying to decide between this or the W995. Am hoping to get it either one by the end of this week or early next from eBay. (:

Currently am in Australia and I have my doubts that it'll arrive anytime soon. Heh.

QUOTE(darkskies @ Oct 12 2009, 01:43 PM) Yeah, I was pretty worried about that - but have done my research and all. I'm pretty sure this seller is safe. |

Got it through eBay and it arrived yesterday.
It's a great little phone, and I love the fact that it has a physical keypad (was using the Omnia previously). My only complain is that the keys on the keypad are slightly hard to type on as they are grouped together. I tend to have mistakes every now and then - hopefully it is something that I'll get used to over time. |

Got it for AUD$600. Warranty isn't much of a problem to me as I change phones occasionally. (:

RM1.8 if you were to convert it using the current currency. Mine was converted when the exchange rate was 2.4.
And yup, it's a brand new phone. Everything worked perfectly. Doesn't seem like a fake since there were a few others from Australia who purchased it too. |

QUOTE(jagadis @ Oct 23 2009, 09:41 AM) but what the use of putting a touch screen and not using it? What Sony is trying to do is to fill a niche in the market, and this is the phone that does the job. It's to satisfy those who like the idea of having a simple OS while still maintaining its functionality. You do not need a touchscreen to do simple tasks such as switching on your alarm and typing out a SMS. And if you really need the touchscreen for browsing the web, there is the Opera Mini 5 Beta.It already has the hardware.....it can be a full touch screen phone with keypad! correct me if Im wrong.... this phone has almost the same features as the c905 except for the playstation control thing which actually is only some extra software.... Ur gona pay 800 bucks more for the program and the semi touch screen which doesn't matter! unless u can use the touch screen for browsing and GPS,I dont think its worth the price. I love this phone to bits and have no regrets in paying the price for it. For me it is worth every single bit as I am pretty sick of using a touchscreen without a physical keypad - especially with WinMo as an OS. Edit: Sorry, just noticed the comments a few pages back. Will try to snap a few shots of the phone, although I'm pretty sure most of the people here have already seen it in SE centres. (: This post has been edited by snowcandy: Oct 23 2009, 11:40 AM |
