Was bored about 2 weeks ago and started to dismantle my case for a cleaner approach

Got sleeving kit from murdermod and some stuffs from niclasteoh

Here r a few pictures in progress. It is hard to do modding stuff as it takes time, patient and patient.

Attached Image

Attached Image

I powder coated the motherboard tray. Before that i had some holes cut into it for better cable management

Attached Image

Attached Image

PSU modding going on currently. Sleeving material not enough. Used it to sleeve other items to. Trying to get more sleeves.

Attached Image

Attached Image

The original HDD case cannot accommodate 3 hard drive facing backwards. So i had about 1/4 inch cut off the back to have 3 hard drives in it

Attached Image

This is the ESA module to control fans and also to monitor the temperature. The fan cables where directed into the front fan intake casing and through another fan bracket (image below). Then the cables were hidden within the casing to supply other fans

Attached Image

Attached Image

Holes were made in the fan bracket to allow cables to pass through

SATA cables sleeved

Any suggestions, please let me know

Always buy extra sleeves and heat shrinks as u will make some mistakes during sleeving

If u can afford, get the murmermod or mdpc-x sleeves. They are really good and u get nice results

I still think you can get rid of V8,change to TRUE or Meganehalem and push pull fan for more pleasing aesthetic and performance

I bought the sleeves directly from murdermod. It was the pyschopack.

I also ordered extra sleeves from MDPC-X directly as they sell the sleeves individually.

Murdermod sleeves are also MDPC-X sleeves

I think clawhammer might be bring in the sleeves. Try contacting him

Great execution on the sleeving materials thumbup.gif
Why bother choosing lower quality sleeving when its going to make your sleeving transparent rite? thumbup.gif

Just my 2cent opinion, but i personally would love to see attention to detail
If you can provide constant straight cut and identical heat shrink size for your sleevings, im sure it will greatly improve the aesthetic

I tried my best with constant straight cuts but as this is my first sleeving project, I was learnig a lot. It is not easy and u need a lot of patient to them

Hopefully if i have another new project, the sleeving will be better

Then, so sadlah u can't powder coat.

Maybe u can find one at ur place. Just go to any aluminium shop (window frame) and ask them. They usually sent their item for powder coating

Just wondering can powder coaters in Malaysia powder coat plastic?
I have read somewhere that powder coating plastic needs different resin which melts at lower temperature. Wonder whether such resin is available in msia or not.

nice theme tho...same as my project mod...but later when u want to sleep can be quite tiresome with all the lights...if u close the side panel still bright like dat?

I am using karma bay which allows me to attach a 120mm fan to the front bay

Here is the link

For the lights, i usually use only about 3 fans and i slow the down them using the fan controller (ESA), so its not that bright. I will use all fans only when i am gaming

Very nice thumbup.gif

I particularly like the wire management. What did you use to hold the wires flat like in this picture: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Atta...post&id=1220715

Is it just simple zip ties ? When I use zip ties, they tend to group the wires in a circle ...

I did not use zip ties as they tend to group. I bought lead strips from electrical shop and painted them black. They r easy to bend to shape and used double sided tape to stick to back of casing
