I too agree we should be RTFM first before operating... Manual is not that thick anyways one round in the toilet and you will gain much more knowledge on your LX-3 tongue.gif

However, Malaysia is a "spoon-fed" culture where ppl expect to be spoon fed the information then looking it up by themselves.

Thanks for the heads up as I was about to go there and search as well.

Maybe I will try searching at LYP but if someone can recommend another place besides KL that would definitely be better!

Filters are usually just screwed on the adapter so I guess it just depends on how tight you screw it.

Actually if you plan to get adapter + filter / lens just get the PandaBase ones for forumer laichong. Lotsa LX-3 users here are using that adapter.

Went to a local camera shop just now and got to demo a GN50 Olympus flash unit tongue.gif

With a flash THAT huge, you'd be holding the flash instead of the camera! laugh.gif

A test shot from inside the shop with the GN50 flash. I can only rotate the camera counter clockwise to take a portrait pic with the flash, else, if you hold the camera rotated clockwise, you can't even hold it properly! laugh.gif

the 2nd shot blinded me, and i doubt it was full power rclxub.gif

LOL the flash almost looks bigger then the LX-3 itself!

Added on November 5, 2009, 10:23 amBtw I need an extra battery for LX3. Shall I buy original Panasonic or some ayam brand?

Please advice on price and location as well. Prefer LYP where can I get the battery. Thanks folks
Why not just pick an ori battery from Panasonic Direct? its RM157 with free delivery.

I don't think there are any other fully screen screen protectors for LX3 except Midfields. For me its either you put a full screen one or dont put at all.

As for lens protector, recommended by other forumers here not to stick any but get a good lens cleaner like Lenspen instead.

Oh wow the GGS looks good. Is it thick? or as thin as the usual screen protectors?

If I remember correctly once you register your camera, Pana Msia will take about 1-2 days to verify the details. Once verification is completed only then will the voucher be displayed.

hey anyone kena this problem before? After taking a shot the screen goes black with white lines across, the whole camera becomes unresponsive. Only resolve after taking out battery.

Just sounds like the software hanged and crashed. If this happens very often then do send it for warranty.
