i am thinking of changing my graphic card to 285 gtx, any sifu's can tell me whether 285 GTX is a good card to go for ... the rest of my spec is listed in my signature below !

And at what resolution are you playing at? If only at 1280x1024/1440x900, you can forget about seeing much of a performance increase. If at a relatively high resolution of 1920x1200/1080, then yes... the performance is very much noticeable.

gtx285 is the fastest single GPU on earth.
nothing wrong upgrading from 9800gtx+ (gts250)
and the gap between them is as huge as their prices.

its 1440x900 ... just wondering whether changing the graphic card would help on me playing crysis warhead cause the game still jerks every now and then ...

If u got budget juz go for GTX285 or save ur $$ wait for da GTX300 series

save up,change a better psu & wait for the release on ati 5series,nvidia will surely slash price on their card.

or you could just get a gtx275 and oc it a bit.if oced,it performs the same as the gtx285 yet costs rm500 less [rm1250 vs rn750]

wait for nvidia to counter attack ATI with GTX3xx series...
GTX285 price sure go down like waterfall

9800GTX+ is GTS250.....GTS250 is rename version of 9800GTX+.....so mean you jump from GTS250 to GTX285 only....performance can be diffrences....but GTX300 is nearly release alreayd...wait GTX300 release ....BTW your GTS250 still can kickass on games...no need so fast change new GC yet.

550w can fire up gtx285 la 0.0...

GTX250 is pretty decent but i noticed that for the latest games ... the "recommanded specs" is reaching GTX 250 d ... sooner or later will exceed it ...

maybe, probably. when GTX285 first come out, the price about rm1.5k. dunno bout GTX300 series though.

BTW how much i can sell for my 9800GTX+DK? I just used it for < 1 year ( 6 - 8 months)
