Date of transaction: 18th August 2009 through CIMB Clicks at 8.49pm, but until now nothing delivered nor any refund received!

Details of the complaint :

1. On 16th August I asked him about the Seagate 500GB 32MB SATA HDD he's selling from this thread (as mentioned above).

2. On 18th August he gave me his banking details and I quickly proceeded to transfer the amount (RM150) to him through CIMB Clicks. Then I gave him my shipping details.

3. I asked him about my item status on 20th August 2009 but there's no response from him. I asked again on 21st August 2009 and then he replied that he's busy and will be sending it 'next week'.

4. On 24th August 2009 after still no update from him, I asked him again. Then he said no time to go posting the item and he offered to refund, so on August 25th I gave him my banking details. But I told him that he can still opt to send the item instead.

5. On 27th August 2009, when there's nothing received (item nor refund), I asked him again. But no reply received.

6. On 30th August 2009, I asked him again; he replied by saying "Don't be angry, tomorrow is Independence Day so lets celebrate this.". No answer on my item nor refund at all.

7. On 2nd September 2009, I asked him again and this time I warned that I'll open a dispute thread and suggest a blacklist for his name. He said will refund tomorrow (3rd September 2009).

-Now I'm tired of asking, waiting, and being played as if I'm being taken as a fool. Until now (8th September 2009, 12:25 pm) nothing was received yet.

-I hereby request his name, details, ID and whatever to be added to the Black List and he is given a Dispute tag (when/where appropriate).

NOTE: He (kaixy) has been informed about this thread.

-Just talked to his father (through phone)!!! Thanks a lot, Google! (I wonder whether Bing can do this too? )

-He (his father) is a quite a big name in his hometown, so it's correct for me to not lodge a police report yet as it'll tarnished his innocent family's name. He promised to help me settle this mess ASAP.

-So, kaixy, what's your action now? Hope you wouldn't get scolded too bad by your father. Anyway, if within 24 hours no progress on this, I'll surely make a police report for sure (I don't want to think about this anymore, tomorrow I have a test ).

-Anyway, only these can describe this person: ARROGANT & IGNORANT. I.e. "I will send whenever I feel to do it.". Look at his latest posts, he acts like nothing happened. It's nothing to him whatever people are saying to him or whatever will happen to him (or his family) as consequences from his actions; he just don't care.

1. I asked whether you can send without waiting until 31st August 2009, yet you didn't answer. Instead you just asked me to deposit on 18th August 2009 so I thought maybe didn't have to wait. Then I banked right away.

2. On 24th August 2009, you yourself offered to refund if I can't wait. I immediately give you my banking details, yet after 2 weeks nothing received!

3. Then you changed the T&C to extend the reserve date's deadline until 7th September 2009 without informing me at all. I had to check it myself. Besides, T&C for a deal is fixed (contract tied) whenever that deal is done (in this case is when I confirming by banked-in RM150 on 18th August).

4. I called your father because I DON'T want to make a police report and tarnish your father's and family's name. You can't even understand that? It's already been 3 weeks since I paid, can you yourself wait that long without knowing for sure when your item will arrive?

5. I never touched about your University at all, just browse all my posts here (except for "-Yes, he's still studying there (look at his reason for 'selling')." as I'm answering others' question). FYI, I have an uncle who's a senior lecturer at UiTM Shah Alam, and a lot of my relatives and friends are UiTM graduate/undergraduate. I don't drag others, neither your family nor your university into this mess created by yourself. So, if you want me to remove my posts in your threads, delete every post mentioning my college first. Wondering why I contacted your father? Refer to point #4.

@kaixy: I never called all of them to comment here (except Mr. Codex who I asked to help providing your info; thanks codex ).
So, don't say that I 'bring up gang' (or whatever) to hentam you.

-FYI, PosLaju van/lorry usually comes to my college around afternoon, and I have evening classes until 6.30pm today. So, I'll inspect & test the HDD tonight and post the result later.

[UPDATE]

-Hmm, sorry for late reply. I'm actually left the HDD under testing since 8pm until now; so far no problem and SMART status all green. But it's Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 series which may prone to the infamous 'bricking' issue. Anyway, that's not an issue as I agreed without confirming the model first.

-My comment on the delivered HDD: it's acceptable (firm packaging) but kaixy should put more than just static bag to protect the (underside) of HDD. And I could hear some sound when shaking the HDD (maybe by design?) We could just use 'newspaper balls' to act as shock absorber. On the other note, all the receipts/invoices are present, too.

-So, I consider the case is settled. My advice to other kaixy's potential customers, try to do COD, or if postage, insist on an exact and definite date when he can send the item before paying.

-To kaixy, if anything, please update the details here; don't attack me through PMs.
