After you done copying the files (and also install all the apps) let us know whether problem solved or not ya... Cuz i'm facimg the same issue and dont wanna uninstall garmin cuz i havent buy a in car gps (yet)

Anyone here knows how to manual flash the x6 using nemesis or other software?? Cuz i have the v20 files (downoloaded from navifirm) but i dunmo how to flash the phone only....

Nope.. i used the software updater in phone to install.. Cuz now my phone cant startup with maxis sim card (its still locked to UK provider)and the ovi suite needs the phone to have sim card and also in General mode only can update... But weird thing is, after charging my phone last night, problem gone..
Now it can turn itself on without hanging, and i didnt remove garmin either.... Strange...

gosh.. the "hang during startup" problem starts again... right after i installed some apps from ovi store.... i think its related... sheesh..

Yup.. Totally agree.. Grrh!! Seriously fed up with this phone edi.. Although i juz got it three days ago! The phone cannot turn on unless perform the charger trick.. Reset the phone hoping to solve the problem, after install apps from ovi store, problem come back again.. Wth.. I even formatted the whole mass memory, no luck.. Damn.. Any sifu here knows how to manual flash a BB5 phone (X6)? I wanna revert back to v20.. Till now v21 still sucks for me.. And i have the flash files in hand liao.. Just need to know how to flash it oni.. Because if i keep on doing the charger trick i guess my battery will be dead in near future.. help me out guys...... Thanks alot in advance.

hey people... I just found out something.. Not sure if its luck or something, but here goes:
After surfing the net and also watching a 1 hour+ movie using my x6, i realised that the battery is quite warm.. So i decided to turn it off, then turn on again.. But who knows my phone wont turn on.. (same issue as last time.. If i wanna switch it on i have to do the charger trick).. But i didnt perform the trick cuz i still have a few bars left on the battery and i don wanna charge it.. So i just leave my phone on the table to let it cool down and continue to do my homework..
Then, after half an hour or so, i go check my phone again.. The battery is back to normal already.. So i test my luck and switch on my phone (without performing the charger trick).. And guess what? IT TURNED ON SUCCESSFULLY!! Till now i'm not sure whether this incident is pure luck or its related.. So i just post it here and share with u all.. Those who got the startup-phone-hang problem can test and see this wild idea works or not.. Purposely go make your battery warm by surfing the net or watch movie, then switch it off.. Turn on while warm see can or not, if cannot then let it cool down and try again..

hey guys.. is the Shazam app in your phone working?? Cuz i can only go up to the setup page.. If i click my wifi connetion it will say "cannot establish connetion using xxxxx"..... Any help??

Every phone is different.. When i first install firmware v21, cannot start.. Use the charger trick and turn it on, then start installing garmin (and also other softwares.. I install all at once)... Still got startup problem.. Charger trick again, and after that no more startup problem already. I think the phone heals by itself

Yup yup.. Mine last time oso got boot screen prob.. But i think mine is battery prob oni.. Cuz my phone is brought back from uk one.. Maybe the first few days its still not used to the hot weather here..

But after one week or so.. No more prob edi.. Smooth as tofu

Anyone here facing problems when using the Shazam app? Mine always says "could not establish a connection to <my_wifi_name>" anyone here facing the same prob?
