They seem to be trying so hard. Some attempts were great, but others, I dunno.
They came out with the best bang for the buck phone at first(5800), then came out with an overpriced smart phone the next(N97), then a phone that is confused between an entry and a smart phone(5230), then a proper entry level phone yet it's software beats out its big brother the 5800(5530).

Have to wait for this one though, see if the price justifies its lack of innovative hardware.

nokia is unlike iphone. Iphone just only 1 product can kill the market. No need so much r&d and design like nokia.
Well nokia, every 1q, 2q, 3q, 4q of the year definitely got new model roll out.

Then again, if Iphone were to have such an R&D, their first gen would already have 3G, video recording, MMS, full Bluetooth connectivity, better camera, replaceable batteries, and memory card slot.

Nokia intend on having something for everyone, not just for people who can afford everything.

Well i know Samsung got lots of advantage if compare pricing wise, but instead of that i will settle for the Omnia II instead of the i8910 maybe i am somewhat skeptical about the HD branding.


Well,i guess if they had come out with everything in 1. Like that nobody will upgrade right, but i do agree the lack of MMS. That is seriously a killer and yet the iphone 2G sold like hot cakes. It is their reputation and how they market their product,too many hardcore apple fans nowadays.

I guess should be around 2.5k lor. Well i hope it is lesser than 2k but with the capacitive what i hope would never come true.

very true. When phones are all MMS ready it took iphone how long to launch that?
Nokia trying their best to suit all market from low end to high end and when iphone only focus on the high end.

I think nokia uses million to advertise also. From their advertisment on TV and on the streets i dont think they lose to apple. Apple just cater for a different type of enthusiast or i can say different type of apple maniac. lol

Actually iphone got people help them promote whereas Nokia has to promote themselves

600 mhz sure overkill.coz nokia touchscreen doesnt provide u 600 mhz.eventhough flagship N97

Why 600 is overkill? the symbian can multitask easier with a faster processor right?

1.coz i dun see any upgrade of N97,if 600 mhz it shows me the upgrade
2.very much difference between 400mhz and 600mhz.if u ever try 2 symbian OS phone,example,N97 and i8910.u will see the differences between these 2 fons.

I think if Apple release too many different kind of phone (with Qwerty, or with keypad or etc2), they'll endup loosing alot of fans due to "variety" Apple have made. Just like Sony, HTC, Nokia and etc.

Anyway, from the looks of X6, the touch feeling will be alot different then N97, responsive and I've just heard Nokia will implement multitouch with new firmware updates.
