actually, its expensive because it comes with music.
in the price, u pay for license for music.
then u can download all the music you want in to urphone.

TBH, the 'come with music' doesn't do much to the cost, all the musics listed there are either foreign to us or litle known. I don't use 'come with music' feature with my 5800XM. wink.gif

Capacitive is still more expensive than resistive for that matter.
Although more responsive, it lacks in term of handwriting and detailed hand works. Although multitouch function is useful.

The price tag the Nokia X6 Comes With Music is listed at on the retailer's site is £529.99, or around $867, much higher than the€450 ($640) price Nokia announced for the phone. At the same time, we should mention that the X6 without Comes With Music is priced at £344.99 (or around $565).
Nokia X6. The presence of the music service in not the only difference between the two phones, it seems, but the storage space they come with also differentiates them: 32Gb for the CWM version, versus 16GB for the non-CWM variant.

X6 without music (16gb) is only around RM2k.

They have to follow certain ethics. Surely Nokia doesn't do it like most of us and get all those songs for free on the internet. For quality and legality the source of those music would be superior I would think. Maybe lossless digital copies from producers, original CDs and vinyls? I dunno how these things work actually but you get the picture..... tongue.gif

I bet those songs wont reach 5 GB because of their quality.
But it would be useful in exploring and discovering new singers/bands that we've never heard before. With comes with music we might, not with the 1000 free songs that came with our region of Nokia products.

Yeah if you look it up you can download and store the music via PC so you can probably copy it to another device other than Nokia's.

yep tunertube. maybe i won't have the 1000 songs nokia offers, but i bet i have at least half of them, being a music-junkie downloading all sorts of songs w/o caring what type of song it is, from pyrometal to classical jazz hahaha

but the way to sell is still very much questionable. I mean, it's basically the same as you're buying a service when u don't even need one, in term of the needs. they still can sell w/o the music feat rite, which is why they eventually decided for another ver but w/o the Music~

That I agree, they should sell one w/o the service for a lesser price. I mean, some of us don't want it and would not want to pay extra for a service we don't use.

you should try out iPhone or iPod touch from any of your friends and will notice the difference.
