The MINI ECU should be able to auto adjust to the RON typre you use. It can range from 95 to 98.
My GTi has no problemo.

Some of us have problems. RON 95 activated Check Engine light. Any power loss from switching so far? I'm sticking with 97

Stock or what? Mini?
Even before the change in the RON thingo. I've used the lower grade fuel when I run out of petrol in ulu areas.

Mk5. GTI. His isn't stock. But then again yours isn't too. Maybe later batches can use lower grades.

As far as I know, only one ECU chipping allows for auto adjust and that's mine!

That's good to hear. Those with other brands would have to wait for an update.
