QUOTE(Mokuton @ Sep 2 2009, 10:43 PM) is there any? if yes; i don't think it will call weekly shounen jump anymore... it might called month shounen jump since it take month to reach malaysia a magazine from malaysia~ so since no importer or exporter then no translator lo~Question1) do they sell "weekly shounen jump" ? Question2) do they sell english manga ? |

well, agreed. Borders Times Square KL got a manga section that you can't possibly miss. But bear in mind the price is not like our officially-local translated manga...it's like RM 30++ for a manga (I can't buy Keroro Gunsou manga from Tokyopop for that reason...)~

hmm...the only thing to get hentai..is having a Japanese agent who can get it there...or an American friend who knows where to get H-Manga from Eros or any equivalent company who translate H-manga into English~
Malaysia? Lupakan je la....but in Borders, they sell some yaoi manga it seems...yaoi manga everyone? |

Meh, even the english shounen jump is a total faggottary of the original Phone book sized ones. During my varsity days, I bought Shounen Jump every week up to my closet crashed under the sheer volume of it.
And honestly for me, Comic House >>>> any english mangoes due to cheaper price yet same quality of translation as any Del Gay/TokyoCrap/Viz |

Comics House only offers good translation tho. To maintain the price, they had to use whatever means to lower the cost such as paper quality. But that's not really a matter. What I like within English mango is its additional info and other stuffs as well. Preferably, I would love to get original Japanese mangoes

or learn chinese. There are more chinese translations and available bookstores selling them but RM4.50 each. In Summit USJ, Malaysia, 3 books are for RM12.
Beware: Chinese Mangas from 天下 publication such as Toriko, Fairy Tail are obviously magazine scans (crap and blurry ones) This post has been edited by Dark Steno: Nov 1 2010, 01:02 PM |

Chuang Yi produces good translations for much much cheaper than American imports. I have their copies of FMA and TokiKake, and have seen their versions of Black Lagoon and Hoshi no Koe. They're jsut as good and Tokyopop/Viz/etc. but lesser paper quality for half the price.
