QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Sep 2 2009, 05:18 PM) Lat pulldowns don't have much carry over to strength. I emphasize, don't have MUCH. It does have a certain percentage, but compared to pull-ups and chin-ups, it's not as great. The strength required to carry your own bodyweight with your back and arms, is still more than what it takes to pull-down your own bodyweight. Go test it. Just on the pull-down, the hard part is not having yourself fly into the air so clip your legs still. I'm doing that negative pullup thingy..Why aren't you in the gym? Gym's open I jump and hold about 3 seconds before coming down slowly. ...shit where is that post regarding pullup/chin ups.. havent tested yet...into week number 2...but pretty inconsistent. damn gotta remember to do acouple of those before i start gaming. my bad Added on September 2, 2009, 6:18 pmWAh shit wei.. my friend just gave me this news..some guy committed suicide live =.= because of ppl in the forums told him to overdose or some shii+ http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=112084431 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC2_AVqKzHM News of it starts around minute 4:44 of the video http://celebgalz.com/abraham-biggs-suicide...suicide-photos/ This post has been edited by metalfreak: Sep 2 2009, 06:27 PM |

Ken,
I agree with what you say that diet > training. I was wondering, if I cook my stuff using extra virgin olive oil...is it okay? I normally use EVO oil for my chicken breast and beef. |

QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Feb 11 2010, 01:46 PM) Use the spray kinds. Pan spray I think they call it. Use much less oil and still covers the whole pan. haha I know what you mean bro. its still beats the crap of eating outside food U zee why I hate striving for a sexy body thing? It's too much trouble. I'm happier being stronger than any average person despite having a lil more obliques than a abercrombie and fitch model. And my foods are tastier too! My lunch was 1 whole can of tuna in olive oil + spaghetti + 1 egg. I was reading the old thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1113418 and I saw something that caught my eye from the play list wtf? |

Hi guys
I was searching on acid amino stuff Have a look at this one http://www.getbig.com/articles/protein.htm The part that says "Applications to Bodybuilding" Does it mean it is actually better to have a good protein meal before working out(say 2 or 3 hours before?)? |

Sigh this is frustrating.
After working out again and bumping up my protein shake intake, my hemorrhoids came back. annoying s|-|i+ my meals? may be lack of veg but I've been taking fruits. meals are wholemeal bread, pasta, beef and chicken breast(all pan fried). I do drink alot of water. Why ah? Body too heaty? |
