Laziness is not an excuse when training is involved. Sucky diet I can tolerate. How can one not love training?

Went to get myself a tub of whey at GNC. Man, these things keep getting cheaper! I think whey is their loss leader. They make up for it through health supplements. RM199.12 for a 5 lb tub. Because March is my birthday, I am entitled to 35% off of this if I buy a health (not sports) supplement at 35% off list price. So I took a small bottle of MEGA MEN multivitamin. The bill came up to RM189 something I think. Not bad!

Beginning April this year, the bonus points can be used to offset any bill. Before this, you can only redeem something with a value equal to or less than the bonus points.

One might not love training when one isn't progressing.

Question for the wise:

Do you control your deadlift descend? Is it worth controlling your deadlift descend?

Saw a couple of dudes today at the gym DL-ing 145kg for 15 reps with a curled back, power transfer through toes and all that jazz but 15 reps is a lot to go on. Nevertheless, it was almost as if the descend was a freefall.

Would like your opinion on this. I find myself controlling my descend too much and I fatigue way quicker. sad.gif A bit unnatural for me to just relax and let the weight plop onto the floor.

HEY HEY pep, last night i met one of my fren in TF, he was taking a real Tongkat Ali root back home, guess he is buying from frens or sumthing, It is one huge s root. By the way, aft tat i did some research on the herbs and i found out that besides it enhance ur sex drive and libido, it also act as a testosterone booster and improve in muscle gain and fat loss. It sounds too good to be true, any one out there tried?

But it also says, it may contribute to short tempered and increase in sex drive ( which is not very good if u r single lol)

I was reading the purposeful primitive and came across this

the whole idea is whether determine if you want to add muscle or lean out. Pick one. Determine how many days you have to train. Select a weight training template that syncs up with your available
days. Devise a 6 to 12 week periodization plan. Start with the desired end goal and work backwards to the start date, establishing small weekly benchmarks for each lift and for bodyweight. Lifting performance needs to be nudged upward weekly, in some manner or fashion. We synchronize nutrition and cardiovascular exercise with resistance training to accelerate progress. Regardless the selected direction (add muscle, lose fat) rest assured that
if you abide by the precepts and principles, if you generate the requisite training intensity, the body has no choice, but to accede to your self-imposed biologic imperatives

very powerful and simple things that most neglect[CODE]

Hey ken86, nice post by the way, does that means JW321 is not suitable for lean out?

As increase for cardio.... how many is constant and how many is considered as an "increase" ?

swks = decrease cals = calories

jamis - what on earth is JW321 ?

I do say a good base to start with for cardio, let says steady state in our case would be 30 minutes and adding it progressively.

Steady state cardio is not the only form of energy system work, get creative with stuffs like HIIT, car pushing, sled dragging, tire flipping, smashing the tire with sledgehammer, sprints, boxing, etc
