I do 5x5 for compound exercises and maybe throw in some 10x3's as well for the pump.

One thing I dislike about the 5x5 is the lack of pump. You?

the reason is you not go heavy enough? i get fatigue like hell after squat sweat.gif

Lose my pair of gym gloves in Celebrity Fitness, 1U.

If you see a pair of Everlast gym gloves in the locker room, please pass it to the counter.

Thanks.

5x5 is mainly focusing on strength, which is why you won't really feel the pump. In fact you're not really supposed to.

Not every program is a 'bodybuilding' program. Different programs exist for different needs. Don't compare apples to oranges.

tried this HIIT complexes just now back a gym

use a normal barbell + 7.5lbs each as a starter.

what i can say is that it really burns as i sweat darn alot throughout the exercise.

i think can add in more weight in the workout.

it really test your stamina more than strength.

decided to apply this workout twice a week. thumbup.gif

hopefully can see the fat burning result asap~~

I don't really understand what the others mean by the word pump, but I make sure that whatever muscles I'm working on in an exercise, I make sure that muscle really contract kao kao during the contracting phase before I relax it and contract again.
