Got Singapore Laska meh or Laska from the south? Those in the picture is likely to be Katong Laska style. Those at Pavallion, not so sure its SG style, never tried, but the prawns noodle, looks authenicate but taste a little off. Yes, seen that kind of cooking style in SG too, but as far as taste goes... bit off for me.
Anyway, there are version of the so call SG laska, not sure which is which. Most common Laska in SG... so-so lah.. The Katong Laska, and then there is the Old Sungei Road side stall laksa that also taste something like Katong laska.. just that, some have cockle and some don't.... a variation of some what similiar katong laska, bit more creamy and less oily and spicey. Even the chilli isn't quite the same as the usual laska found in SG....
Food Where can i find Singapore Laksa in KL?
