aku yg ade mid-end desktop & low end laptop ni nak beli netbook

mmg le kecik (10") tapi ade HDMi ngan VGA interface
lagipun bateri netbook boleh tahan sampai 8jam lebih

netbook+external monitor+usb keyboard+mouse = desktop :3
tapi tunggu ION2 platform

48 jam? x cukup mencabar. we can do 72 hours no problem

some netbook are equip with a decent low-mid end graphic card, but i cant keep up with the small screen... its damn annoying...

maybe im such into desktop that sometimes i dont even thinking about notebook and netbook alike, lol

Hmmm.... at this point of time:
1. I wouldn't recommend a pure netbook (Atom + 945 or 950 Chipset). You won't be able to play any 720p or greater .mkv files.
2. 1024x600 screen is just too difficult to use for even web browsing. After subtracting space for the menu and toolbars, you're left with 66% of that for your browsing! Get at least 1366x768.
3. I would consider ASUS N10Jc-A1 (Atom + Nvidia 9300M graphic card + 1366x768) - has HDMI port as well
4. Next in line are the normal notebooks with either Intel C2D + NVidia 9400M or AMD Turion Neo X2 + ATI 3200 or better.
5. Beyond that, no further compromise.. it's a notebook with a mid range GC

Whatever you do, don't settle for Intel 945/950 chipset!!!

but for me, mobility and as long it can plays BD-rip without lag, its useable to me

YES. thats y these people should know teh greatness of ION platformz

ION platform have GF9 series by default (with dual core Atom)
not to mention ION2 in near future...

saya sebenarnya suka lagi begini. coz kalo da tido balik lagi liat nak bangun gi keje

any netbook with nvidia ion and 11.6" 720p screen is fine with me

dual core is a plus. need this to run 1080p videos :3 single core just wouldnt cut for it.
