I wonder, what is the most favourite camera bags and why? (whether the bag that you have/use or your dream bag)
For easy answering, lets use the format below:

Camera Bag Type: eg backpack, shoulder bag, sling bag, beltpack, rolling case
Brand:
Model:
Price: *pls state new or 2nd hand
Place bought:
Reason why I like the bag:.....

Thanks for participating icon_rolleyes.gif

*addendum: could you guys pls state also if brand name is important in your choice of choosing camera bag. ie if a NoName/CapAyam brand camera bag that looks as nice and featureful as its branded peer camera bag but at price much cheaper, would you seriously consider the NoName/CapAyam brand bag?

Camera Bag Type: shoulder bag
Brand:Lowepro
Model:NOVA 200
Price: NEW, RM370
Place bought: KEAT CAMERA, KL
Reason why I like the bag:
now, there r plenty of reasons why i like this bag. The main reason is its darn spacious space. I'm a guy who likes to bring every gear , including the littlest thing inside my bag. So this bag never disappoints me in term of carrying all my gears. I currently have d200, 3 lenses (including 1 tele), powerex 8 batteries charger and sb900, and therefore u can see how this bag serves me well. I can even attach the tele with my camera and still can put it in the bag.

The shoulder pad also very comfy as it is heavy padded.

very interesting.
Branding so far dominated by LowePro.
Bag type and bag model very diverse

Come on guys & gals... join in the survey icon_idea.gif

Does brand plays an important part in your choice? ie if say a NoFrill/NoName/CapAyam camera bag but very similar to say LowePro or Crumpler model, with very good price ie say 30% cheaper or more... would you consider the NoFrill/NoName camera bag?

Im curious to know... hmm.gif

Camera Bag Type: Sling Bag
Brand: Winer
Model: T-14
Price: rm 200++
Place bought: Lowyat Photo Shangrila
Reason why I like the bag:.....

Main reason i bought this bag because i have a new 10" netbook.. but i don wan to bring super big backpack around with me all d time (most laptop+ camera bag is big n can put up to 14"-17" laptop)

2nd reason: is sling bag...Slide d bag to front n u access d camera.. n use d camera as ur hand support.. fast n effective.

3rd reason: I find Sling more Cool- Looking.... doesnt really look like camera bag

Disadvantages:
a. Could b tiring on one side of d shoulder if fully loaded
b. No Allweather cover included
c. Quality cannot matching the ugly looking lowepro (no offence, just my preferences whistling.gif )

But with this bag.. i find that i bring my babe out more often to any occassion, compare to my previous Alpha Shoulder bag which is big with lots of compartment but harder to move around especially in crowd

hmmm... still LowePro is leading the pack. A formidable lead. rclxms.gif
Followed by Crumpler
Other brands are more of a passerby... ie Bagman and Winer unsure.gif

Still waiting for others such as Kata, Tamrac etc... to join in whistling.gif

On bag types... looks like the Shoulder bag and Backpac types are favourites.
