I am using 16G Kingston Class 4 SDHC... Always when i take up to 600photo... It will pop up err msg - CHA.... It is actually the memory card error... After i change another normal SD Card... it can continue to take again... Is this memory card prob or camera prob? i check thru online... quite a number of user kena this problem...

Added on September 1, 2009, 5:11 pmBtw, the normal SD Card memory is really small... 1G only

Brothers, wanna ask... my SB600 mount a bit loosen when plug on top of my D90... i notice it is due to the steel mount located at the body there slightly wider... maybe i always hold on the flash rather than body when some 1 pass me the camera... Any idea how can i fix this? I am thinking maybe to push or press the top mount steel closer... or maybe hammer it a bit... but scare... any idea how to fix it?

Information to share:

Just got my self a MB-D80 battery grip for my D90.
Bought it at Sunway for RM460. Damn. It is a good price. J-1 offer me RM470.
Bring back the Battery grip in Happy Mood. Immediately plug out the battery cap and plug in the new battery grip.
It shows battery low icon. Tot it is just battery low. Recharge my battery. Plug in again. Shows battery low.
Then i remove the battery grip and put in the battery. Can power up the camera with no problem.
I suspect it was the "contacter" between the battery grip and 3 battery contacter pin inside the D90 not properly aligned.
I realize the center pin inside the D90 slightly bent toward 1 side so i use my nail to slightly pull it out toward outward direction.
Plug in battery grip again. Wala~ It works perfectly~ So far so damn good. solid feeling.

I read thru a lot forum, all with the same problem regardless of Nikon camera models.
So u know what to do now. Sharing = Caring.
Take care.
Enjoy shooting.

Hi sifu, i bought my d90 not long ago. I'm goin to study in germany next yer n i heard cold weather can reduce battery life. Izzit true? Should i get a battery pack? can i use a 3rd party 1?

I am a rookie, not sifu. Even myself now also deciding whether to get an Ori batt or Third party batt.
I am not sure the weather thingy will deteriorate ur battery power.

For what i know, i may buy a third party- "Camera Devices" batt after reading this.

i will be travelling to BKK at the end of the year and to UK next beginning of the year. I think 2 batt can last me a week of travel.

**I just browse thru some link, it stated that the brand "Camera Devices" battery with 1800mAh will not work on D90. Not sure why tho Seems like original is the only way.

I sent my D90 for Nikon Malaysia for checking and servicing today.
Seems like i am the 1st Customer.

Like i said initially, my camera are giving me the ERR and CHA msg earlier when using the Kingston card. After change to Sandisk Extreme and Ultra series. I encounter 1 time ERR so far. Anyway, I be going to travel soon to BKK and China. Hence better sent for check up b4 going, just in case the CHA and ERR msg strike me again.

They will give me an update tomorrow.
Will update here for information sharing purposes.
