can AF NIKKOR 70-300mm 1:4-5.6D be mount on D90??

i tried but after i mount it my dina cannot snap picture and it show F33 on the top panel

or is it the lens already broken?

guys i want to ask some question here what happen when u look through ur viewfinder when ur off the camera?? bcoz i just notice this when i take out the battery for recharge i then i looked through my viewfinder i found that theres a gray layer on it with lots of white dot is this normal? but when i put back my battery and turn it on then everything is normal again through viewfinder and the picture taken
