18-105VR is way better than Sigma 18-200.
And 18-105VR is quite sharp smile.gif

just bought mine at foto selangor
mine is kit set
but they give me body box and lense not in the kit box
normal kah?
*
Pretty normal. Previous buyer, not interested in the kit lens.
Left the lens there, so the shop owner bundle with D90 body set only.
So nothing to worry about. It's still under Nikon Malaysia smile.gif

Quite tempted to buy it. tongue.gif

Is 28-75 sleep.gif
I feel a little soft but some claim that it's a sharp lens.

sb-600 is very good.

+ fast and reliable.
+ good value for money.
+ light and small. can easily keep it.

- small screen
- complicated shortcut buttons.
- cant be a commander.

but i love it really. hasn't let me down ever  smile.gif
*
D90 already got commander mode in body.

but at least is depend on budget and the quality which satisfied u..
furthermore, price not always equal to its value...as for original mayb they over value it due to BRAND, commercial etc etc..
y pay more?
LOL..
*
Pay more for less headache.
I never trust 3rd party item especially flash and battery grip.
Lens still ok for that.

seconded for D90 TT or group shooting
yup, i agree too. but the range is a little short. alternative can be nikor 10-24mm
imo, there is no siggy 10-22mm correct?
closest is sigma 10-20mm?
yeah, 14-24mm seems to be the best UWA so far <-imo
but having 14-24mm on a APS-C sensor cam is not really wide
*
10-24 is kinda overpriced sweat.gif

Yeap. Sigma 10-20. Constant aperture version available soon.

14-24 is for FF. If crop camera, Tokina 11-16 still my vote.
If you want super duper wide on FF, get Sigma 12-24 brows.gif

QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Sep 29 2009, 03:03 PM)
i think its RM2k++ isnt it
....

nikkor 14-24 is superb on FF..wink.gif...

i dun like sigma EX finishing...feels cheap
*
Sigma 10-20 is rubbish. Distortion is ugly. Just my 2cent.
