My favourite 3rd party app are as follow:-

a) Viigo (Headline News, RSS)
b) iSkoot (Skype)
c) Amaze (GPS)

I went into Blackberry App World (BAW) - http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/ selected few interesting app. software such as Bloomberg Mobile, iheartradio, etc and email the app. download link to my email address. But when i clicked the link from my BB, it said the BAW only apply for few countries namely US, European countries, not a single Asia countries is listed, just wonder App world will arrive in Malaysia , something like iTunes store, now they are available in M'sia. Any info ?

appworld works fine for me. manage to install & utilize it

i can't install the appworld, any guide to install it? would love to use some of those free software... thanks!

You can install it but does it offer you any apps? As far as I know you only get the 8 free apps if you are in a country that is not supported by Appworld. We already have that in the Storm. Appworld is just wasting space and useless until the day support comes to Malaysia.

So far works fine with me, i can download and install all software listed in the app. world.. not limited to 8 only. All the new and update app will be listed also.

Posted some photos of the app. world and the app offered. Ready to download & install. Tested working.

Downloaded DriveSafe.ly that day in my office...once finish, suddenly sms came in...it READ ALOUD!!!! LOL!!! Somemore it was frm my buddy..

he wrote " @#$% MAN! THAT FU@#ING SH%T HOLE IS CRAZY..blah blah blah"...! I couldnt mute it on time!

That was what happened to my friend, some more it send out spam email. I'm not sure what kind of email the app sending out but he ask me to stay away from that app. It take a lot of resources and power to run on his BB Storm.

Haha..farny la..but something similar happened to me when i 1st tried out the app after dl-ing in..suddenly damn loud..Hak Dou Ah Ma Dou Em Yeng Tak...

If let say i download Viigo application which the file size is 1317KB, will it deduct from my data plan which is 5MB per month? Or its free?

if u use hotspot browser over wifi, then its free.

Opera Mini!!!

I guess Opera Mini is faster than Bolt, isnt it?

i downloaded google mobile app the other day and its has gmail ,news, reader ,calender , photos and a few more..
the one i like the most is their google search by voice search bar..

google sync is my favorite...sync my contacts & calendar and let google do the backup for me.

hmm i m still trying to install app world on to my unit, doesnt seem to work. Anyone on maxis manage to get app world installed?

for those who fail to install appworld, try to connect your bb to the desktop manager and use the 'check for software update' on it to get software updates. this work for me.
