From your previous thread, I thought you are doing a full body routine, with DB press, pull ups and lunges all in one session. LOL!
Come one, push ups only once a week is too little, right?

I think you should go refer to simplefit.org to have an idea of the volume needed for a small amounts of growth.
What you've got will just keep you moderately fit. It won't put on lots of muscles.

Like what those guys said, Rippetoe or Stronglifts 5x5 is recommended (if you have access to a set of barbell).

Which is 24 reps of DB presses/push ups (and pull ups and lunges) in a week?
That's seriously way too little to promote any significant growth. Look at hundredpushups.com. By week 3, it is 100++ push ups per session. What can that measly 24 reps do for you? cry.gif

Seriously, if you can get to a gym, do Rippetoe or Stronglift 5x5.
If you're stuck at home the just do the simplefit.org thing... like right now! (you can do lunges instead of squats; DB press instead of push ups.) Then read up and ask around to gain more knowledge.

First, just freaking do something that works instead of wasting brain juice to come up with a routine-which-is-not-a-routine, can ah?

Yeah, that's the point. One might spend hours, days, weeks just to read up on various info and to come up with a cool routine himself.
That why he might as well just start with some good routine now while he goes around reading. At least he is doing something.
