Clinique is way too strong for me.

I have sensitive combination skin. I was introduced to their 1-2-3 skincare routine when they first advertised it in the papers.

By the end of my first week with Clinique, my skin was dry.

Second week, it became red, flaky and itchy!

That was then I totally stopped using it. I guess its because their product is pretty strong in terms of ingredients used.

hi...i did go back to d clinique consultant, she sez its cuz i didnt use d whol
set.but actualy i was usin 1set. spend like 1k every 6months 4 all d essence,moisi,turnaround,
and bla bla. but as to my opinion i tink too muc alcohol in d product and i hav very sentiv skin so i guess its jus too strong 4 my skin type.
u can try though ,mayb ur skin can take it biggrin.gif

I started use their 1-2-3 range few years ago,at first i'm quite excited since it's my most expensive skincare that I've ever bought as well as it's famous in industry...first 6 months okla,i love the cleanser so much, then spend few more hundreds on extras ie turnaround, eye gel so on,but after a year,i didn't notice any improvement but keep using it until 2 years but still the same now i'm considering other skincare range...maybe not suits me oh

I have the same problem, initially the result was good but By the end of my first week with Clinique, my skin was dry.

Second week, it became red, flaky and itchy

I try to get consultant, but consultant in each shopping centre have different opinion and only alway ask to try and buy more of other product, and product intro different for each consultant.

IMO, not all of clinique stuff are good. I've tried their superfit foundation and some of their eyeshadows..not good at all.

i like their facial cleanser though, very good cleanser.

I'm using the 3 step Anti-Blemish set but I wonder why my result is on the contrary of the comments posted above.

Anti-blemish set that I'm using solved my acne problem and now I feel my skin is really breathing!

Hmm however I do agree their toner is abit too harsh, it tends to dry up my skin too. Advice from my Clinique consultant is - never apply the toner twice at the exactly same area of your face, this could cause itchiness or sensitive skin.

He understands that most of us have the tendency to apply toner all over our face - REPEATEDLY tongue.gif

high 5 to the carriesweeting above, i'm using the anti blemish set too.
my face really turn well.
i think it depends on every person's skin.
my friend see it's effective so she bought it too but too bad it doesn't work like mine.

I used Clinique for 3 years already and will continue using it.
No problem for me but it depends on the individual skin.
I can't live without Clinique's Moisture Surge and my mom's using it too!

i used clinique before and it was not a good experience..maybe not suitable but i also know their level of chemical used is very high next in line is sk2..thats why some ppl get good results initially but later became worse..

I tried their "all about eyes' eye cream.

My eye area feel itchy after using them for a few days. Must be one of the ingredients in it...some plant roots.
