QUOTE(foogray @ Feb 1 2010, 01:58 PM) The harsh sunlight makes for a dramatic photo, but some parts of their bodies look to have blown highlights. If you shot in RAW you can use highlight recovery to try and reclaim some detail from the sunlit side of their bodies. Either way, it's a very nice catch. agree..nice dramatic capture..but it'd be better if u can recover some highlight there..

QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jan 31 2010, 02:11 PM) 1st of February 2010 Camera : Canon EOS 5D Mark II Shutter Speed : 1/160s Aperture : f8 ISO: 200 Focal Length : 900mm VERY VERY Impressive moon shot.... I have been trying for a good one for quite some time and would be overjoyed if I could get one this good... I have read a lot on the subject and the sunny 12 or 16 rule is recommended for exposure. Depending on the fullness. a 3/4 moon is considered the best but I personally like the full moon shots better..Once again GREAT work!!!!

QUOTE(foogray @ Feb 1 2010, 02:15 PM) Think so. You can probably use this as a guide. The screenshots show a recovery slider, so if it's anything like ACR, just drag it to the right until details become visible, then use the exposure slider to brighten the image again. QUOTE(achew @ Feb 1 2010, 03:53 PM) agree..nice dramatic capture..but it'd be better if u can recover some highlight there.. Many thanks to the sifus..
