I agree with that and the adrenaline rush comment - whenever the ball goes back to him, my heart beats a little faster! I think Foster has been doing an okay job. Replacing VDS was always going to be a huge task, and all the scrutiny is on him. Every mistake gets amplified by the supporters, press, other teams.Foster makes some brilliant saves. Especially reflex saves (against Arsenal for instance). His judgement on coming out to claim/punch the ball while in the air is still a little dodgy, as is back passes/clearances. Hopefully it won't affect the defenders, who might take more chances with the ball because they don't think they can pass it back to him!
Mistakes are made in every game - if Foster is liable for City's first goal, Ferdinand should be barracked for his part in their third. Chances are that defenders will give the ball away more than keepers (he had Tevez to deal with!), so I am not too worried about him between the sticks... after all, Fergie has started him in all the games so far, and only he has the final say!
