p/s: whats the whole issue with Rooney diving against slovenia?

This is not about tapping up. The kid is free to sign with whoever he wishes for since he couldn't sign for anyone until the age of 16 if I'm not mistaken, although he was in Le Havre's academy(?). They're just unhappy that it's us who Pogba signs the contract with, which is just natural. I don't know much about the Kakuta's case, but he sort of had a pre-contract agreement with his old club and somehow broke that by signing with Chelsea. Not sure if Pogba is on the same situation.

IF that kid Kakuta had a 'contract' with his old club and Chelsea know it, I'm sure they wouldn't go through with the deal to sign the kid. It's the same with us. We would have check with the relevant parties and make sure he is free to sign with us. Seems a bit unfair looking at it now if that was the case with Chelsea signing Kakuta and getting into trouble over that.

Fifa should step in really, ages ago regarding the young players signing for big clubs. We've seen it with the S.American/African players signing with European clubs since ages ago.. but they don't jump and shout at it as though it was a serious offence. But all of a sudden lately when the English clubs 'dominated' the European scene, every little things came up. Getting young players, having more money than their counterparts in other leagues, having a lot of teams in the CL etc.. they make it as though the English clubs have an unfair advantage compared to the others. But they didn't complain when it was the French/Italian/German league which was getting all these sort of advantages when the English clubs was trying to climb back the ladder after they were banned from Europe years back. Now they're on top, those fat guys at the top don't like it..

Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted he would relish another chance to face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final this season, admitting the manner of the defeat affected him so much he took DVDs of the game with him on holiday to analyse.

The Manchester United boss witnessed his side succumb 2-0 to the Catalans in last season's showpiece in Rome and Ferguson revealed that some harsh lessons were learnt that night.

''I would love the chance to redress the situation with Barcelona. Absolutely. I would love another final with them," he told the Daily Star. "You look at that defeat and you can look at reasons and excuses. But it's always better to look at the reasons.

"We're now quite clear about where it went wrong and that's always helpful. There were valid reasons and so we were able to move on. I wouldn't go into the reasons for the defeat but I did take the DVDs with me on holiday and watched the game again.

"We went through everything too, with my backroom staff. The whole build-up. Everything. Was it the right hotel, was the training right? So we are quite clear about where we are now with that defeat.

"I quite like these games. It's not a problem. What went wrong against Barcelona can be put right. Certainly it will all be put right. I didn't kick myself over the summer. I have been long enough in the game to know that you can't win them all.

"Sometimes you just have to accept that bad days come along and you move on from there. It was disappointing though. You don't like losing finals of European games. It was the first one I have lost so it was really disappointing for everyone."

The Red Devils begin their European quest with a trip to Besiktas on Tuesday and Ferguson is expecting a lively atmosphere.

"There's a lot to be admired in that, their fanaticism," he added. "You expect that. The stadium is full at 12 o'clock on the day. It's amazing how they make that noise but you just have to deal with it.

"The Champions League is the priority. It's a great tournament, with all the best players and teams. So there's always the two challenges for us - the Premier League and the European Cup."

What the hell was he thinking doing something like that to his ex club fans and colleagues. Luckily our player never did something like that.

Well he was the one whoring himself talking about how AC Milan and the others wanted to buy him and him talking about $$ stuff, guess people got pissed off.  A bit like the Heinze case, just doesn't involve their hated rivals and talk about the extra $$ stuff.

It's more than annoying. He just tarnished his reputation by doing that.
