QUOTE(chcher @ Oct 4 2009, 07:27 PM) But yeah it could be a factor in redscorpian's case since the machine wash could be too strong and broke the badge. just a possibility. If Redscorpian bro wash his kit thru washing machine, then i suggest put into protection bag and wash, think wont be so worst. This only for those who wash their kit thru washing machine, hand wash is only the better way, |

I think if anyone washes their jersey using the washing machine, it is better to over turn the jersey inside out?

no i never washed any of my jerseys using the washing machine. and im absolutely aware of how to take care all my jerseys properly. hand wash, didnt dry under the sun, ironing and all. im not sure too why it became like that. here's an example of where it cracked. its just a pic i took from the net and the red lines are where it cracked. maybe just due to excessive use i assume..
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « oh and another thing, i have one 2000-2001 home kit. long sleeve with lextra beckham's nns on the back. i bought it during that season from the united shop at OU old wing way back then. sadly its not there anymore what i wanna share is, back then as i didnt know there was a proper method to wash a jersey and that was my first jersey ever, i just washed and spinned it using the machine washing and dried it out under the sun. surprisingly, until now the kit still maintains the brand new look after i dont know how many times being washed since 2000 until 2008 |

It's hard to tell why it happened... but one good lesson we should learn is try to iron beneath the patches as frequent as possible. Flip the jersey inside out (terbalikkan dulu jersi) and then iron beneath the area where the EPL champions patch is placed. This helps to increase and maintain the bond of the patches' glue.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The patch basically has a very thin glued outline, while the rest is covered with a golden coloured thick material layer. Do not leave your jersey under the sun because it might crack PU typed NNs or sponsors... If lextra, should be ok... But I don't encourage you if the material is PU. I can't see the crack clearly.
If it's a minor crack, just let it be... no need to take the hassle and replace it. |

If you're talking about this NNs:the 1998 season EPL nns r start to use till 2007 season just change 2 use other design nns rite ? ![]() Then it was used for 10 seasons from 1997-1998 until 2006-2007. Because it has reached up to 10 seasons, EPL introduced a new NNs style beginning for 2007-2008 season |

QUOTE(Deadman_Inc @ Oct 5 2009, 10:24 AM) Here are my bayern munich crack NNs. As you can see, there is a crack at no 11. How can I fix this? Should I rub it off and replace with a new NNs or I can simple top another NNs on top of the existing NNs. This particular type of Bayern Munich NNs are notoriously thin, and easy to expire. IMO, no need to replace leave it as it is, there's no guarantee the new one (if chosen to reapply) will not crack as per this one.Added on October 5, 2009, 1:32 pm QUOTE(redscorpion @ Oct 5 2009, 04:25 AM) no i never washed any of my jerseys using the washing machine. and im absolutely aware of how to take care all my jerseys properly. hand wash, didnt dry under the sun, ironing and all. im not sure too why it became like that. here's an example of where it cracked. its just a pic i took from the net and the red lines are where it cracked. maybe just due to excessive use i assume.. not sure why your lextra patch cracked, maybe it's just one of those things. maybe what you can do is remove the patch (DIY), and replace with a new one. This post has been edited by aw13: Oct 5 2009, 01:32 PM |
