I watched a lot of trailer that she is saved and that is what Lightning & Co is trying to do which is very different from Aerith, where she sacrifices.

Battle system is similar with previous released demo bundled with FF7 Advent Children. One thing I noticed is the introduction of Optima system menu, where you can determine the actions of characters. The Optima system works like a Gambit you can set mid-battle. When pressing L1, I could choose Attack/Cure and Attack/Support.
