average iridium plug lifespan of any brand would be 100,000km should there is no oil contamination due to piston ring/ plug seal/ valve seal leakage

yes bro, reason you got a bit rough idling is due to nature of colder heat range of the plug, during warm up period, the engine will raise the rpm to heat up the engine faster, anyway since your heat range is off the factory spec therefore you may have some misfiring/ incomlete combustion during the warm up session.

anyhow the benefit of colder plug always pays off during mid-high rpm response as the colder plug having the ability to absorb more heat and having a latter ignition spark to prevent losses due to pre-ignition/ detonation.(jus as what you requested smile.gif )

anyhow do check the plug condition every 10k, if carbon deposit is found try blow them away with compressed air while careful not to damage the tip in the process
