I don't see the option to subscribe to hourly broadband inside *100# - only daily and weekly - is the hourly option hidden somewhere or has it been taken out?

u can try daily, it's only rm8 biggrin.gif

btw the speed has been inconsistence, it's slow during the day (300kbps-512kbps) and at night it will be super fast (1mbps-2mbps)

I'm at home right now where DiGi BB's coverage is marvellous. Was thinking to use hotlink for work (DiGi only got EDGE there) - so naturally I don't want to waste too much here...

THanks - didn't know it's hidden there. Testing it right now.

Not too bad the speed test, but can be better...

Yep. Quite satisfied actually. I still remember when I first wanted to get wireless broadband, everybody told me Maxis was the worst. smile.gif In my experience, some one else is (Hint: look at my siggy) biggrin.gif

i think prepaid more value for money. If u take 7 days only cost u rm25. So one month will be around rm100 but then u get around 8gb quota ( 2gb every week).

YOu put it that way, it does look good! rclxms.gif

IMHO, having used all 3G broadband (Sialcom, U Mobile, DiGi, Maxis), Maxis, bad as it is, is way better than Sialcom. In terms of speed and especially customer support.

how to subsribe the hourly broadband?
i'm using hotlink prepaid
so if i exceed the limit quota before the subcription expire...they will start charging me extra? or they will just terminate my service once i reach the limit?
*
Terminate. I think you can find hourly under "Mobile Internet" on the USSD menu.

For prepaid BB, if you exceed your quota, you will be disconnected.

It seems they have a new prepaid package, no longer just under Hotlink.

Anybody knows if the speed (normal) is unlimited or is it capped (again, speed is what we're talking about here, not bandwidth)?
