Since got the 1for 1, i thinking of getting fallout and fallout 2. But someone here said that fallout tactics doesnt work 100% and need to put into compatability mode sucks abit.

I wonder if these games will be compatible when windows 7 comes out. Will there be any support for windows 7 for current existing games?

I also waiting when the gog actually do x-com but not the whole series, just unknown enemy and terror from the deep.

Steam got their DRM where you need to be online for some games 2 work. Plus it doesnt update some of their olders game like their x-com catalog which needs dosbox 2 run since they didnt update it for newer OS.

Best of all most gog games that i've checked out are compatible for 32 as well as 64bit OS.

But steam doest make them fully compatible on xp or vista, gog does which is worth my money. Buying a game at gog is similiar to a large Carls junior meal with cheese fries.

Just bought fallout 1 and got fallout 2 free. Baru install and my fallout icon come out some bearded pirate by the name of tim cain.

I played it last 2 years ago. not bad but i still want for gog to port x-com to their store. I hate the steam addition where have to use dos box.

Still waiting for the x-com franchise to come over.

I tell you gog will hit old if they can update that on the portfolio.

I've tried tex murphy 1 & 2 on vista and it sucked big time. It wasnt very stable and emulating the gameplay was terrible.

At least the fallout series fair better.

Just bought UFO series, coz wanting to play x-com style game. I am still hoping that gog will reboot the x-com franchise.

Theres a good story behind ufo games? But then again even i couldnt remember what x-com story was, was to busy trying to not die.

Going to finish ufo aftermath. damn i didnt know if was going to be very tough near the ending of the game.

Those alien incendiary rockets really hurt. Even with bio armour on.

Oh, the big worm which spit insects. Those projectile are considered as hard damage but since their insect size projectile. No amount of protection can take it for long.

One thing i hate is when starting it wasnt so bad, once i had researched the biomass. Then the aliens started having heavy firepower like their rocket launchers.

Yeah, i accepted the reticulans offer and game over, very disappointing. I just found out why i couldnt research plasma rifle or laser rifles since i didnt research another thing which i skipped. Going to finish the game soon but it takes me 5 days to complete 1 set of bio armour.

Going to play aftershock after finishing aftermath.

I am now biding my time to finish manufacturing bio armour for all of my troops.

I found something very annoying about the game. I got one reticulan ally who can only use alien weapons so i let him use the plasma cannon, for humans, when u crouch u will auto deploy the weapon but reticulans cant crouch so i have to waste action point for the reticulan to set up the cannon b4 actually shooting.

Compared that to a human who can set if up b4 hand rather then set it up only if you have a target.

Wow, its a damn surprise that their shutting down.

I want a remake of the x-com games with better graphics but still keep the gameplay.

Not so sure about the x-com reboot by 2k marin.

Either way, im getting the x-com collection from direct2drive, their currently having a promo for the X-com Bundle for 6 dollars instead of the usual 15.

But if a graphically improved and full windows 7 compatible version comes out. I'll be sure to spring for that as well since im a big fan of the x-com series, been playing it every so often since the first one came out.

For the most part they did a good job getting old titles to run on the latest OS, both on 32 and 64 bit.

Does anybody know when was gog launched? My account says i've been a member for 413 days.

So far i;ve got 3 freebies from gog, beneath a steel sky, means streets and now jagged alliance.

Somehow jagged alliance doesnt agree with windows 7 pro 64bit.

Yup, and if im lucky and it starts, its very slow plus there are numerous graphical glitches.
