Well, ditching all hopes after habouring for more than 1.5 months. Production models does differ with the prototypes. Physical deterioration in performance can be seen on the browser itself. Sorry N900, you're just a love at 1st sight.
Meh, I'm with you there. Hopes are ditched. Here's hoping that "Step 6 outta 6" from nokia will provide a much better and well baked phone that is truly worthy of aquiring. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with this phone, but I'd rather stop waitng for something that may never come. On a more optimistic viewpoint, at least step 6 would have ironed out all remaining kinks in this phone...*Hopefully*
Nokia might pull off the same strategy. We might not get n920 as well
Well, I doubt nokia is that crazy to ignore the ENTIRE Asia market. I heard that nokia will be launching Maemo 6 phones by Q2. I believe that is worth waiting for. Still, If even THAT ain't comming here... then i'll...i'll
On a side note, at least we SHOULD have new phones that run the new symbian^3 by next year around the same time. Not much of a consolation if Maemo 6 doesn't get here, but at least symbian^3 should be much better than what we have now. *hopefully*
If you look back on previous gen n800 & n810, you will know
Well, as defence for my lingering hope to aquire a Maemo phone here in Asia , I would say that those were not exactly phones but internet tablets, so its probably a reason that it MAY not appeal to everyone since most people are looking for a phone, not an internet tablet. Still, If Maemo 6 really does not launch here, at least we should have new Symbian^3 phones by next year.
