QUOTE(drewjon @ Jan 23 2010, 11:41 PM) Been using this for 1.5 days; I must say it's a great phone. I'm using Celcom, and no setup needed for 3G. After inserted my SIM card, the phone automatically downloaded the settings. No MMS though, but not a problem for me since I never use it. The phone already comes with a few apps, but they also have some good applications on the Ovi Store and they're all free up till now. Battery life I can't comment much since I'm at home the whole day; phone attached to adapter; so dunno how long it will last in one charge. Photo/video quality from the camera is quite good. Photo is sharp with vivid colours. Will upload some sample later if I have time. |

QUOTE(Qvarna @ Jan 24 2010, 02:00 PM) Maxis still cannot configure 3G settings. They said to me that maybe Q2, maybe Q3, if and when Nokia ever launch this product in Malaysia. Do I need to change over to Celcom since I like the phone Maybe you need to configure the APN settings manually. Or probably can try reinserting your SIM card; since Andy214 got his Maxis 3G automatically configured.QUOTE(jojinho @ Jan 25 2010, 09:16 AM) Why is it when i go to Application Manager > Updates ; it says there 'Operation Failed' ? Anyone applied screen protector for your N900? I'm thinking of buying InvisibleShield screen protector for N900. Saw someone selling it at Garage Sales.
Anyway, tested WorldTV99 app last nite. Streaming quite smooth over wifi connection. ![]() |

QUOTE(Jeffery @ Jan 29 2010, 10:43 AM) I'm using the iPhone screen protector with some modification. It's not perfect but should b able to work for months. Just received InvisibleShield full body screen protector for N900 today. Bought from Buddy Shop.![]() QUOTE(jojinho @ Jan 29 2010, 02:34 PM) N900 users, how do you set up your yahoo mail? It seems only yahoo mail is unable to be setup, the rest e.g Hotmail, Gmail is okay. For Yahoo, I use Nokia Messenger to get my mails from Yahoo account. Seems like only paid Yahoo Mail Plus can be setup on N900. The rest as you mentioned is okay; Hotmail, Gmail.Secondly, is there any IM apps on Nokia N900, like ebuddy or YM..? For Internet messaging only Skype, Google Talk, Jabber and SIP preinstalled. For YM or MSN, you need to install Pidgin IM app, and also Pidgin extra protocol plugin to integrate it with SMS messaging system. I really like the IM feature on N900. You can merge you phone contacts with their equivalent YM contacts. So, from Phonebook itself, you can see them online. |

QUOTE(super_evil_alien @ Mar 9 2010, 12:17 AM) Everyone using AP set don't have any trouble so far. Some photos taken with my N900. No post-processing except for resize. To existing N900 users, can you guys show any picture taken with the N900's camera? Some of the users complain that the camera is really bad. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Want some more games for your N900? Exhausted the App Manager and Ovi Store already?
Point your address bar to http://www.TERRYPATON.COM Some are touch based (bring out the cursor), some use the keyboard, some use both. Demo below is of Breakit. |
