To those intrepid souls who got the N900 via non-official means, care to share your contingency plan in case things do break down? Gotta admit that Nokia's QC ain't what it used to be. Case in point; 5800XM.

Hmm. At the risk of sounding like a cynic, things do break, more so electronic goods. I'm sure as a fellow tech head you'd understand. I'm just curious as to whether any buyers have any more in depth ideas regarding the warranty; 2 years as stated by sellers is a little too vague for me. What parts would they be using, etc?

Btw, RM 2k for the phone seems to be a major steal. After conversion from the Nokia Store USA, its around RM 1950. What gives?
