QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Sep 2 2009, 08:49 PM) But I'm guess C series stands for Computer Mobile (with high spec and etc) from budget phone to the most advance Computer Mobile. Since X series X6 Nokia using Capacitive touchscreen. Maybe I should wait another MAEMO Os from Nokia that use Capacitive or Optical touchscreen. ANYWAY, this phone makes Samsung and LG in pain! X6 touchscreen is capacitive despite the Glass screen And proof.. Click me |

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Sep 2 2009, 09:06 PM) i wonder why nokia didnt implement their n95/n95 8gb formula to this n900 (boosting all their best hardware/software)? I think la, MAEMO isn't hardware eater. See the video from your post. The touchscreen response very very nice eventhough it's resitive. The OS is light-weight but powerful one. It's like comparing Ubuntu (MAEMO) with Vista (WinMo).last time during n95 era, its among the best in terms of hardware. This post has been edited by Leo the Lion: Sep 2 2009, 08:15 PM |

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Sep 2 2009, 09:33 PM) yeah. that maybe rite. but what i mean are, why not combining the tilt form factor from n97+camera from n86+capacitive from X6 (if its true)+compass from n97. But a nightmare is the price, have to agree the design isn't attractive enough. But if the design match with it's specifications, will sell like hot cake. they can repeat the success of n95/95 8gb. i understand marketing strategy to diverse their product line up, but if they produce all the best in one device, it still will sell like hot cakes |

I read and watch XPeria X2 SE video/review. It doesn't impress me much with WinMo 6.5. But the design is cooler. I think we should wait for another MAEMO line phone.

So far I heard, nokia been working very hard with
1. Carl Zeiss developer 2. Intel 3. Linux MAEMO 4. Microsoft 5. Optical Touchscreen (dunno what developer) 6. 12Megapixel with big sensor. That's all I know. Don't know it's true or not. But confirm 1,2,3,4,6 their working on it. Should wait for N990 |

QUOTE(chenster @ Sep 4 2009, 04:44 PM) yeap.. it's better if you contribute also. haha.was actually thinking btween x2 and n900.. do u think n900 have enough 3rd party software support? like iphones and winmo have tons of applications to install.. After N900 released, there will be tons of contributor joining in. I might be one of them This post has been edited by Leo the Lion: Sep 4 2009, 05:12 PM |

The price is cheaper then expected. Thought will be RM3k+ above. But might come out same like N97 RRP RM2480. But the problem is, is it coming to Malaysia or not?

The thing I like most about this phone is that you don't need to use your notebook/laptop waiting for it to boot and start browsing. With smartphone like this, you can just hit the browse button and you can browse the internet. It's very simple and you can do while relaxing on your bed. lol. Love my N97 and wish this babe come to Malaysia. But sadly though, no news about it coming to malaysia

QUOTE(solsekuin44 @ Sep 24 2009, 08:57 AM) Beautiful phone.. It seems Nokia 7705 twist using Maemo OS despite the similarities between this and N900. Wonder if Nokia wanna replace Symbian with Maemo. If that the case, then it's a bad start. Hopefully they don't abandon SymbianI couldn't find any related thread here about Nokia 7705 Twist. Will it reach Malaysia? Looks uber cool! Here's how it looks: http://usa.nokia.com/find-products/phones/nokia-7705# http://usa.nokia.com/find-products/phones/...705/twist-video |
