QUOTE(Andy214 @ Mar 14 2010, 08:49 PM) Ovi Suite does not support N900 yet. so there's no way to use ovi maps loader?Nokia PC Suite only support partially (can sync Contacts, Calendar/Task/ToDo, and notes (for Contacts and Calender) only). It can't transfer SMS and Notes from previous Symbian devices. is it normal for the sms tone to not play completely?
im too lazy to edit tones atm, so i simply selected a MP3 but yet it doesnt play completely. if i had to guess it would only play for about 60 secs is this normal or is something wrong here? plus the phone only vibrates 2 times when messages come in. 2 buzzes when the message first comes in then it just finishes playing the tone but doesnt vibrate anymore This post has been edited by Mgsrulz: Mar 15 2010, 02:37 AM |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Mar 12 2010, 04:19 PM) Nokia (Hello Station) selling DC-11 = RM229 Correction to myself hahaDC-11 from Nokia Care (or Hello Station) = RM199. However, some Hello Station still have the old price tag of RM299!!! Price inconsistencies, but after ask them to check further, they can give for RM199 which I think should be the correct price. This thing is actually pretty good, it can charge 2 device simultaneously; And was able to charge the N900 to full from about 40%. Although the manual says it can charge only completely charge a 950mah battery. I also notice something, usually I left my phone charge overnight, and in the morning even though it showed 96% full, it's not really 96%. About 30 minutes later, when I check, my battery is less than 85% full. The reason I suspect is because there was a cut-off when you battery is full and it will not charge until your battery drops until a certain level. Yesterday I tried to charge my phone when it's about 85% full, it doesn't let me charge and tell me the battery is full. Today, my when my battery left with about 81% (I think), I was able to charge it, and after quite long, probably 20 minutes or more? I unplug the charger and notice the battery is only 90% full. And this 90% is very stable. Even I'm on 2.5 connected to IM, after about 30 mins, still have about 87%!!! The above I believe if we left it charge too long, when the battery is full, the charging is cut off and never recharge again until it's needed. When we remove the charger, the initial 96% is not accurate, and it drops very fast to it's actual % level. Thus, this can help explain if anybody experience poor battery life for the first 85% to 96%. http://www.batteryuniversity.com/partone-12.htm The battery never gets 100% charge (as also mentioned in talk-maemo.org forum), the best I get is 97%. To see the battery level percentage, install the batlevel from devel-repositories (I think it's still in devel). Bear in mind that it will somehow consume a little of your battery life, and it's also not stable sometimes, it can stop responding where you need to close it and open it again. |
